It is said that inspiration doesn’t last when it comes from the outside, however when it comes from the inside, it can be all the force you need to succeed in life.
I don’t quite understand the outside / inside concept in the former saying. Personally, more often than not I have found inspiration in external situations – in a conversation with a friend or simply observing some people. Sometimes, it lasted only for a fleeting moment. But the times that it struck a chord with me, it left a lasting impression. I think we are impacted by what we choose to internalize – what we reflect on and process. That is the kind of inspiration that has the power to light a fire inside us, and become a positive force in our life. Having said that, I don’t mean to generalize this. I can only speak for myself. 🙂
Today, I have gathered some of my favorite inspirational quotes to share with all of you, to add to your sources of external inspiration for the day. 😉

Inspiration can be achieved both ways. A while ago I came across this article on Write Tribe about how we need to “Feel the fear and do it anyway”. I have personally enjoyed reading this quote and always make it a point to remind myself about this quote from time to time. I think it always resonates the truth 🙂 Thanks for sharing a great post !

Oh I am the Queen of inspirational quotes LOL I share them on all my social media networks and have a very active Pinterest board of quotes. I find my inspiration comes from within me, but also from the countless great teachers and writers out there too. Quotes can be great triggers for writing also.

inspiration for me is both external as well as coming from within. it’s not about how long it lasts but about making it count at that moment when it comes.

I think it doesn’t matter where you find inspiration. If it helps you to move ahead, then that’s all that matters.

I believe inspiration can come from anything and anywhere. You can read a book and be inspired (external), you can find inspiration from somebody like I do in my sister (external) or the inspiration behind Sara’s Baked Creations was Buddy Valastro (www.facebook.com/sarasbakedcreations).
But inspiration can also come from a random doodle you draw on a piece of paper, realize how creative you are, and be inspired by your internal creativity! 🙂
